It would be a travesty… a crime against my own journey… to walk this path, and ignore - ignore the fingerprints of grace that cover every mile behind me.
How dare I… let my eyes grow cloudy, fixated on the one thing I’m still waiting for, while His goodness has been breaking open around me like dawn after endless night. Listen… He’s healed me, He’s carried me, He’s whispered to me in the silence and shouted His love through storms.
So no - I won’t trade the sunrise for a single star.I won’t silence a whole choir of mercy just because I’m still aching for one more verse to be sung. I will remember. I will count every answered prayer, every door swung wide, every unseen hand that pulled me through.
And even while I’m longing - I will keep praising. Because if He has been faithful before…then surely, surely… He will be faithful yet.
